ELIZABETH MEYER
Ms. Meyer received her undergraduate degree in 1968 from the University of South Dakota, and her Master of the Arts degree in speech and political science from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Meyer received her law degree from the University of Colorado in 1976.
ALICE E. WALKER
Alice E. Walker is the managing partner in the law firm of Meyer, Walker & Walker, P.C., located in Boulder, Colorado. Ms. Walker’s practice is limited to the representation of Indian tribes in all aspects of federal Indian law, concentrating primarily of the litigation and negotiation of natural resource disputes, treaty rights, water rights, regulatory issues, and matters related to tribal gaming and federal acknowledgment.
Ms. Walker received her B.A. degree from Earlham College in 1987, her M.S. from Georgetown University in 1992, and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1992. Ms. Walker is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, the United States Supreme Court, and various other federal courts throughout the country.
JENNIFER HEAD WALKER
Jennifer Walker joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2011 and became a partner in the firm in 2018. Jennifer’s practice focuses exclusively on Domestic Relations/Family Law. She represents clients in all areas of family law including prenuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage (divorce), legal separation, annulment, child support, maintenance/alimony, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time disputes, child custody, child relocation and removal, dependency and neglect, post-divorce modification matters, and appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer served as a law clerk to former Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court, Michael L. Bender, focusing on complex state law matters, including analysis of petitions for review by the Court, legal research, and preparing draft opinions.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2010, where she served as a member and Managing Editor of the University of Colorado Law Review, practiced as a student attorney in the family law clinic, and graduated near the top of her class. She obtained her BA from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude with dual majors in the Plan II Honors Program and History.
GREGG H. DEBIE
Gregg DeBie is an associate attorney in the law firm of Meyer, Walker & Walker, P.C., located in Boulder, Colorado. He primarily represents Indian tribes in matters involving aboriginal and federal reserved water rights, traditional cultural properties, sacred sites, NEPA and NHPA compliance, federal resource management plans, areas of critical environmental concern, rights-of-way, hunting and fishing rights, riverbed ownership, land use, and jurisdictional disputes, among other subjects. He practices in federal, state, and tribal courts throughout the country and in federal, state, and tribal administrative proceedings. Mr. DeBie also practices water law in the Colorado water courts.
Mr. DeBie received a B.A. degree from U.C. Santa Barbara and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in various federal district courts and tribal courts.
Samuel R. MILLER
Samuel R. Miller is an associate attorney at Meyer, Walker & Walker, P.C. Mr. Miller’s practice includes representation of people in domestic relations matters, including dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, and post-decree issues. Mr. Miller also assists in the representation of issues facing Native American tribes and nations, including litigation and negotiation of water rights, natural resource disputes, regulatory matters.
Mr. Miller received his B.S. in Spanish from the University of Colorado in 2010, and his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2018. Outside of work, Mr. Miller enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, and going on walks with his dog, Pinto.
