Law Practice:

Gregg de Bie has been an associate attorney with McElroy, Meyer, Walker & Condon, P.C. since January 2009. His practice includes the representation of Indian tribes in all aspects of federal Indian law. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as in-house counsel for the Colorado River Indian Tribes in Arizona and as a law clerk for Colorado State District Court Judge Gerald Rafferty. During law school he was a Research Assistant to Professor Charles Wilkinson, where his work primarily related to Professor Wilkinson’s book, “Blood Struggle: The Rise of Modern Indian Nations.”

Education and Professional Activities:

Mr. de Bie received his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1995 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2005. During law school he was an Associate Editor on the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy.
